Anica had fled as a refugee from Novi Sad, Serbia, in Osijek, Croatia, in the 1991, during the war. There she built a new life, acquired new friends, gave birth and raised children, but nostalgia for the tradition and culture of the place where she grew up remaines in her heart forever.
